If that's the case, you should be able to get alcohol poisoning and die in town <3 haha

I have been working on it for one character (though for what I do I should do it for my mesmer). I PUG a lot of the zmissions.....for the amount of time it takes to get a full group and do the mission I have usually consumed about an hour of booze....also drank they whole wintersday finales.....added another 10 hours or so to the title with that one....and then just regular playing---though I usually forget to click on 1pts so I usually just bring a keg for those times-----takes up less space too. (and yes nic likes to give them to me). Not to mention, when I surf I have gw up and my monk drinking along while I read my email, check out riverside, etc. and when I am doing housework I have had it running as well---click, stir the pasta, grab sauce ingredients, click again...etc. Has been working out well for me thus far.
I have never bought ANY booze....nor will I, I drink what I get (and what my hubby gives me since he could care less about any title). This has gotten me more than half way done (and I still have stacks that I have yet to drink). So I see no reason to buy any ever. (same goes for party and sweets---I use what I get, maxed party on one character easily and am 3/4 finished on another).
I work on them when I get them.

Did you change your name? Cause I remember your tagline, but that name is totally foreign, LOL!
FWIW, trust me - you will prolly have the urge to buy, once you reach about 8-9k drunkard. You'll want to have on-hand, what you need to max the title, as you're so close!!! At least I did (bought 3 kegs for 15k when I was at 9.5k and had no alcohols left, and then exclusively ran NM Boreal chests for (un)lucky/treasure/wisdom, until drunkard maxed)...

no I have always been cosyfiep....I have changed my title....cause I am a mod. (we can do that)
I dont forsee buying booze since I think I have almost enough in storage to finish up (and nic will probably help with the rest, lol).

To me, this seems to be one of those questions that stem from the whole "game is dead" frame of mind.
If you've been playing a while, you have probably done everything, and might be bored. (Hence, "game is dead" syndrome.) Without thinking, it's natural for a person to assume that others (everyone?) would be in the same place. And some are. But others just bought the game, and are just starting out. And others have had it longer, and still haven't done everything. And others never focused on doing titles until GW2 gets closer. And others got bored years ago, and left the game.
So yes, of course there are people that are still drinking booze. And eating sweets. And vanquishing. And working on their [insert title here] title...

Having just started my second booze title I just want to say: if you don't want your booze I'll happily take it off your hands and free up your storage space.
In all seriousness though, I like the title. Even the 1 point alcohols. I finished drunkard on my gwamm, had a 2-3 week break and then started on my next character. It just feels wrong trading and being sober.

Of course people still bother with it. But keep in mind Wintersday just got over with and if one was really serious about farming for it they probably have a few stacks to burn through before even thinking about buying any.

If I wanted to micro-manage (ensuring that I am drunk constantly) then I'd play an RTS. I'd rather devote my attention to enjoying the game.

If Drunkard titles were to change to the same way to achieve as Sweet and Party the value of booze would probably jump a bit. At the moment though I'm Maxing Kurzick rather than go through the torture involved to get max Drunk for GWAMM

Usually, in-game I have had no trouble selling booze at an average price of 100g point. I see ppl WTB at 50g, but that's a bit on the cheap side imo.

There have been people that WTB booze for 50-60g per point from the beginning of titles. Kamadan used to have several people trying to buy Battle Commendations for that. But the selling price has been pretty stable at 100g per point for a very long time. With the exception of Kegs, the normal selling price is still right around 100g per point.
With the growing number of people who've already gotten the title and the number of people who don't want to put in the time to get it, along with the ready availability of booze, it's kinda surprising that it hasn't dropped in price.

The average price of 100g per point is because Dwarven Ale (1 point alcohol) is sold by Merchants.

Took me a month to get 10,001 mins drunk. With the title window open, I could keep easy track of when I needed to drink again. Srsly, this is the EASIEST of consumable titles to get.

Not sure where anyone said this title is hard. Boring perhaps but not hard. I would consider getting this title on other characters if there was not such a long time involved to get it.
At least with sweet tooth you can click most of the items immediately to use them up.
Maybe ANET could change up what is said while being drunk. Cannot imagine that it would be too hard to do. Just seems to me like it could use some kind of change up.

Or just leave them on and play to increase the challenge slightly, I do drunken vanquishes, drunken elite missions, drunken running, drunken drinking....You haven't seen Guild Wars until you have fought a few thousand blurry enemies.
